About Pandoblox

We started as two companies, solving one problem.

Origin story

For years we ran two companies side by side, under the same ownership. 3GC Group ran IT for small and mid-sized businesses — the service desk, the engineering, the work of keeping technology running. Pandoblox built the software and data systems those same businesses needed once the basics worked.

The Merge

Two names made sense when the work was separate. It hasn't been for a long time. Clients kept describing the same thing: the software was installed, the IT was running, and they still couldn't get a straight answer to a business question. The gap between what a company buys and what it gets belonged to nobody.

So we retired the 3GC Group name and brought everything under Pandoblox. Same team, same engineering standards, one company accountable for the whole thing.

What's in a name

Pando

Pando is a living thing that looks like a forest and isn't — tens of thousands of stems above ground, one root system underneath, the heaviest known organism. That's how a company's technology should work: everything above ground connected to one foundation, so what one part of the business learns, the rest can use.

Blox

Blox are pieces of a larger thing. Complex systems get built from smaller pieces that connect, and can be swapped or added to without tearing out the rest. A client starts with the block that solves today's problem.

One root system made of many blocks. That's the company, and it's the name.

This is where business technology is headed. AI now does enough of the work that a company can buy the result instead of the labor to produce it. Mid-market companies were never going to staff up to run enterprise platforms. Now they don't have to.
