Web Development Manager - PH

Part Time

About The Role

The Web Development Manager leads Pandoblox's embedded web development team, owning the technical standards, delivery quality, and day-to-day management that keep our client web projects on track and our developers growing. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can set direction across a modern web stack, coach a distributed team, and represent that team confidently in front of clients. Strong technical judgment, people-management ability, and excellent communication are the key abilities for the role.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll get to...

  • Lead and manage a distributed team of web developers working across WordPress, headless WordPress, and Webflow

  • Own the team's technical standards, coding conventions, peer-review practices, and tooling decisions

  • Run regular 1:1s, set clear role expectations, and support the team's growth and performance

  • Lead upskilling across the team, with a particular focus on Webflow adoption and modern CMS/JAMstack practices

  • Conduct a top-to-bottom review of current development processes and drive improvements

  • Oversee weekly workload and capacity planning to keep the team appropriately utilized

  • Support delivery operations, including time-tracking review, leave and overtime coordination, and quality assurance

  • Help scope and size incoming work, coaching the team on realistic level-of-effort estimation

  • Provide technical input into statements of work and change orders

  • Act as an escalation point for technical decisions across the team

  • Represent the team in client and project meetings when required, presenting clearly and professionally

  • Work closely with engagement management, project management, and HR to keep the team aligned and supported

  • Build redundancy and coverage across projects so delivery never depends on a single developer

  • Participate in the ongoing development of the team and the web development practice

  • Perform other adhoc tasks related to the role
