A Teambuilding Event to Remember

One of the challenges facing businesses with a remote workforce is the lack of a personal connection among team members, as their interactions are limited to online chats and virtual meetings. As a result, some remote workers face mental health concerns due to the feeling of being alone and isolated in their own workspace.


Having an extensive remote workforce ourselves, 3GC Group and Pandoblox acknowledge this challenge and strive to ensure our team members do not feel alone and that they are connected to people who care for their welfare and aim to ensure their professional development and personal well-being.


This is made possible through the holding of different events outside the virtual space. One such event was the annual teambuilding event, which was held recently in Nasugbu, Batangas last June 21-22, 2025. The event was graced by no less than 3GC Group’s executive partners, Henry Park and Bob Van Dusen, joining the team members who came from different parts of the Philippines, all eager to take part in this event.


Throughout the team-building event, we learned to reinforce and strive to live by the company’s core values of acting with integrity, elevating others, empathy, extreme ownership, sharing of ideas, continuous improvement, and transparency through different fun-filled activities that put physical and mental abilities to the test and introspective moments that touched hearts as well.


The team-building event was not only an opportunity for team members across locations to come together and get to know each other better in person a bit more but also provided an opportunity to have meaningful work-life balance. More importantly, it was an opportunity to forge stronger bonds between colleagues and with the company, which would help them do better in their work.

Events like these are part of 3GC Group and Pandoblox’s commitment to make its people feel connected even if they are working virtually and in different locations. People in the company do not feel isolated because they are assured that the company looks after their welfare and development. Even within the virtual setup, there are regular catch-up meetings and fun activities that get people engaged. A communications channel is also in place so people in the company are regularly updated of what is going on with the company.


Complementing these virtual activities is the commitment to hold in-person get-togethers and events regularly to strengthen camaraderie within the company and the teams, ensuring that, despite the disparity in workplaces, they are part of a great big family.
