About The Role
We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.
In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly.
Responsibilities
In this role, you'll get to
Review and analyze system specifications
Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans
Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
Evaluate product code according to specifications
Create logs to document testing phases and defects
Report bugs and errors to development teams
Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Create or maintain databases of known test defects
Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
Monitor program performance to ensure efficient and problem-free operations
Perform other duties related to the role
Requirements
On day one, we'll expect you to
Have a Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
Be experienced in project management and QA methodology
Have basic knowledge in using content management systems, specifically WordPress
Be experienced doing QA on websites that are connected to a CMS, both static and e-commerce sites
Possess familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Have the ability to document and troubleshoot errors
Have a working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
Master Adobe Acrobat, Google Slides
Have excellent communication skills
Be experienced with Google Analytics
Have analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
Possess strong organizational skills
Have BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field preferred
Have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
Be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
Be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
Be willing to work in US Pacific Time (8:00am-5:00pm PST) corresponding to 00:00am -9:00am PH time
