IT Procurement Assistant - PH (Part-time)

About The Role 

We are looking for a highly organized, commercially focused, person to support our international delivery team to procure infrastructure from 3rd party suppliers for successful game launches.

Responsibilities 

In this role, you'll get to...

Day-To-Day Activities

• watch Kanban board (Airtable) for new requests

• follow procedures for Orders, Cancellations, and Quotes

• play a role that is more about activity done than sitting at a desk 8 hrs/day

Procurement and Accounting

• manage and foster healthy supplier / partner relationships

• forecast supply chain and capacity management to support sales pipeline

• order and cancel of bare metal servers with suppliers day-to-day

• run inventory reports and perform monthly Supplier invoice reconciliation

Process definition and adoption

• follow procurement processes to facilitate time sensitive ordering and cancellations

• follow procurement policies and procedures across all projects to satisfy wider company requirements

• support the procurement needs for projects and customers

Governance and reporting

• support finance with the necessary governance to ensure supplier invoice accuracy

• gather supplier performance metrics for management reporting

• provide response to product / services owners’ queries about order fulfillment

• ensure all procedures for internal stakeholders (Sales, Legal and Finance) are appropriately followed throughout procurement activities

Other

• perform other duties and tasks that though not documented here, are aligned with this role as it grows and evolves

Requirements

• have excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• have the ability to work independently with little direction

• be a self-starter in seeking work and improvement opportunities during lulls in workload

• have experience in procurement and supplier selection processes - including requisition, purchase order data entry, and invoice reconciliation

• have strong attention to detail and technology commercial awareness

• have the ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and third-party suppliers

• have the ability to apply policies and rules across a range of scenarios

• have the ability to identify risks and issues and escalate appropriately

• have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties

• be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer

• be open to a part-time, contract opportunity - up to 20 hours of work a week

• be willing to work in US Pacific time zone (8:00am-5:00pm PST) corresponding to 00:00am -9:00am PH time

• be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there

What separates the best from the rest are:

• experience in the procurement of server infrastructure in multiple geographies and currencies

• experience in supplier performance management

• high level technical understanding of server hardware

• game industry hosting experience
