About The Role
The Data Program Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of programs and projects in close collaboration with business partners, team members, and various data functions. They will be accountable for concurrent projects and large programs consisting of multiple projects. The Program Manager will be a member of the Data Platform team and will coordinate the work of project managers, create and maintain interlocking schedules for projects of a program, track program interdependencies, maintain and present the status of the program, track and address risks/issues at the program level, among other duties. In addition to program management duties, the Program Manager will provide process leadership and support to other Project Managers in structuring projects, consult on the use of project management tools, and will lead process improvement initiatives. The Program Manager will also serve as a mentor to project managers.
Responsibilities

Manage data projects: Responsible for overseeing data projects, including planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure project success. This involves defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, as well as monitoring project progress and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, and within scope.
Monitor and controls the stages of projects including delivery of products from team managers with product delivery responsibility, and ensuring project and program closure is achieved properly while managing the project budget.
Establish data governance: Collaborates with Data Governance to establish and maintain data governance policies and procedures. This includes defining data ownership, data access, and data quality rules
Plan the realization of business benefits so that the success of each project can be measured retrospectively by reference to the performance of its persistent products in the business environments.
Provide leadership, direction, and integration of activities across multiple teams to ensure successful data project execution.
Provide visibility for and coordinates dependencies across multiple teams (within and outside of an assigned organization).
Identify, proposes, and initiates data process improvement activities within the organization.
Own and drives opportunities that will have a measurable effect on operational effectiveness by utilizing the data team
Monitor risks as their proximity, likelihood, and impact evolve and modifies plans for their management appropriately.
Requirements
On day one, we'll expect you to...
Have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
Have at least 8 years experience as a Data Program Manager working on data governance-related projects
Be able to manage multiple, large Data projects simultaneously
Knowledgeable in Agile methodology
Great communication skills and team player; works well with others
Be clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users
Broad understanding of IT infrastructure and technology
Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary
Experience in managing requirement solution workshops
Have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project or similar tools (edited)
Have a fully functional and up-to-date computer with which to perform duties
Be willing to install next-generation endpoint protection on the computer
Be a current resident of the Philippines and can perform work from there
Be willing to work in US Pacific business hours (8am-5pm PST which corresponds to 12am-9am PH time, if not DST)
