Microsoft Architect

In this role you'll get to...

  • Deliver onsite, remote and dedicated support services to customers to promote health in their IT environments

  • Provide leadership to the client in supporting the development and execution of Microsoft roadmaps and service strategies

  • Facilitate discovery sessions, surface and analyze customer business requirements and align it with Microsoft capabilities

  • Provide Microsoft consultation by maintaining a thorough understanding of existing and emerging Microsoft and related core technologies

  • Backing technical and program teams to interpret requirements into solution designs and impact partners to draw an approach towards desired results

  • Provide hands on technical support for the design, construction, configuration, and maintenance of all Microsoft Tenants

  • Develop accurate engineering documentation including design plans, implementation guides, knowledge guides, and standard operating procedures

  • Contribute to the field engineering practice as a member of the worldwide steering committee

  • Lead workshops and proactive services

  • Support SharePoint migration for partner organizations

  • Support integrated archiving and backup solutions to meet high availability, as well as security and legal requirements for the organization

  • Support Project Managers in providing technical and programmatic leadership

  • Assist in training end-users during all upgrade phases

A day in the life

Must haves

On day one we'll expect you to...

  • Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft technologies

  • Passion for technology with 10 years of technical experience

  • Preferably with significant experience in the same role

  • Has Microsoft certifications (not required, but a huge plus)

  • Experience with the integration of Office 365 with 3rd party security and application tools

  • Strong communication skills and experience partnering with senior IT and Program leadership

  • Self-starter and has the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

  • Excellent people skills with ability to handle difficult personnel situations

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

  • Strong customer service/client facing skills

  • Strong troubleshooting skills
